Location near the beach and right next to the highway. Our room and bath were clean and relatively spacious. We had a window in the bathroom and a balcony towards the green atrium. The towels were good. Vending machines and ice cubes available.
The price was way too high for the weird neighborhood. We felt absolutely not safe or welcome here. Maybe it's better if you speak spanish. No grocery store in range (just a really pricy mini mart with poor selection). Strange staff, not friendly. My bedside lamp was broken and could not be replaced in 2 days. The ice box in the fridge melted our icecream. We could not shorten our stay because they would not have refunded our money.
very relaxed and spacious
Don't bother with the $5 breakfast deal, too crowded, opens late, not vaule for money.
Staff was friendly, Nice lawn area. Lots of hot water. No distubance at night.
After booking, they would not honor our reservation and tried to break it, until they were threatened by Booked.net with having to pay for the replacement reservation. The extra trouble they caused me (rebooking somewhere else) then changing their mind and making me cancel the alternate reservation was inexcusable and set the tone for my stay. The location set the price, not the quality of the motel. Nowhere else would such a mediocre hotel cost so much.
It smelled old and like chemicals. It was loud. The bed was not comfortable. It needed updating
large and comfortable room
1) no elevator for second floor 2) no breakfast
It's not exactly luxury quarters, but it was fine for our needs, reasonably priced and located near Hearst Castle. Just what we'd hoped for.
I needed a place to stay on my 2-day trip from la north to San Simion and back the following day.
Very much over priced compared to the motels I booked on my 2-week trip out west from New York. The motel was nice--no complaints. Supply and Demand -- correct!!! Luckily, I was able to cover my financially- challenged travel mates.
Good location, close to the Hearst Castle.
The friendliness of the staff, the ambient and cleanliness of my room.
The fact that was no breakfast included.
The pool and spa facilities didn't seem completely clean, though I'm not sure since we went at night. Also, our room was too hot even though the in-room temperature control system was turned off and it was cool outside.
Very good location if you are visiting Hearst Castle. Various breakfast and meal options within walking distance.
We had a fairly large room with a view over the misty ocean. The WiFi worked ok. It was quiet. We got good value for our money.
Coffee in the room is for one person only (or you can split one bag in two). As I am personally not fond of coffee it was no problem for us. You need to carry your luggage to the second floor. There is no ramp.
The desk clerk was very helpful when my friend and I realized that we had booked our room for the wrong night (the next night). He found a room for us and we had no problem. We enjoyed our stay, being close to the ocean and such lovely scenery. The hotel's price was great.
Most important thing were finding a motel that accepts pet.
Only thing that would improve in your hotel experience for other guest would be the designated area for pets only. Eventhough, there were signs on the wall for rules. For example, no bycicle ridding or running around the area but there were plenty of that. Thus, it made our experience less enjoyble. Furthermore, we did not get room clean the next day, I strongly recommended more effiency in housekeeping.
We stayed because of Location close to hearst castle, an enjoyed our stay
